LG Attacks the Chinese Cellphone Market from HIGH End.
From a Chinese news source:
LG Electronics displayed sevearl newly developed mobile phones during the 2007 Chinese International Communication Expo, thus solidified its brand image.
LG displayed the high end products, Viewty and other Black Label, and used over 45,000 sets of Shine to display living in the environment of high tech communication. The most important display item, the top notch one, Viewty, was first introduced to the public in China. Viewty means “maximal viewing pleasure,” it has professional camera functions such as 5 million pixels, auto/manual adjustment…Personally, if a professional camera’s pixel is only 5 million, I’d rather get a 200-dollar whatever camera.
The Chocolate, sold over 14 million sets world wide, was one of the hot displayed items during the expo. With all the different colors and even a 3G Chocolate, LG tried very hard to imprint the brand image into consumers’ heads.
I’ve only used 3 different cellphones from the year 2000. All LG phone, gotta say they are damn good phone. Dropped them God knows how many times and still works.
